Scott Harris teaches 11th and 12th grade Physics and Earth Systems curricula for Gwinnett County Public Schools. He develops and executes K-12 instruction and outreach, exhibit design, professional training, and public programming in Earth and Space Sciences for public and private institutions throughout the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta region and the state of Georgia. He is a technical consultant for the construction of a new planetarium in Charleston, South Carolina. Scott produces original planetarium content and hosts the weekly At-Home Planetarium Show viewed internationally on Facebook Live. He conducts original research in geology and planetary sciences in collaboration with colleagues worldwide, principally investigating the petrology of hypervelocity impact ejecta and meteorites using optical and electron microscopy and field investigations.
