Recently, a few big name oil companies have sent representatives to speak and recruit students from the Department of Geology at UGA. Over the past few years, our department has successfully sent graduates and current students on to jobs and internships in the oil industry.

Over the summer, geology undergrad Morrison Nolan traveled to the University of Washington to take part in Biology 4750: Paleo Field Methods. Nolan was one of eleven undergrads with a few other graduate students taking the course.
