Heather Qualman has over 15 years of experience working subsurface studies for Oil & Gas and Carbon Capture & Storage. Her extensive industry experience includes onshore and offshore projects in places such as Brazil, Kazakhstan, Qatar, West Africa, Continental US and Eastern Canada. Heather’s background is in Subsurface Characterization and Geologic Modeling.  She was a key contributor to 8 EPA Class VI permits and a lead technical contributor for over 35 CCS projects. As Subsurface Manager for Wood CCS, Heather is leading the expansion of Wood’s carbon capture capabilities into the subsurface, providing clients with solutions for CO2 storage. Heather has a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Hope College, and a masters in Geology from Western Michigan University.
