Speaker: Abdou Abouelmagd

Bio: Abdou Abouelmagd is an associate professor of hydrogeology in the Geology Department, Suez Canal University (Egypt). In 2012, he received his Ph.D. degree in Geosciences from the Western Michigan University, Michigan, USA. In 2013, he received a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Water Desalination and Reuse Center, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST, Saudi Arabia). Dr. Abouelmagd received several national and international awards of excellence and participated in various conferences worldwide. His research focuses on the water resources management by applying interdisciplinary approaches utilizing hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry, geophysics, groundwater modeling, remote sensing, and GIS.
