2023 CURO Symposium

April 3-4, 2023

The 2023 CURO Symposium will be held at the Classic Center in downtown Athens.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Marisa Pagnattaro, UGA's Vice President for Instruction and a Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Terry College of Business.

The annual CURO Symposium highlights excellence in undergraduate research at the University of Georgia, by offering an opportunity for students to communicate their own research to our broader community. All undergraduates pursuing faculty-mentored research regardless of discipline, year, experience, honors/non-honors status, and whether they have been enrolled in CURO coursework may apply to present their research at the symposium.

PRESENTATIONS

All students present their research through either a poster or a 10-minute oral presentation. The poster session for all poster presentations occurs on Monday, April 3, from 4-6 p.m. Symposium organizers will place oral presentations into panels, which occur throughout Monday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 4 in periods that correspond to the university class schedule.
